Greetings. I hope everybody can make the conference in Waterbury on
Saturday – it is VITAL that you get to this event to help us stop the
upcoming execution – the FIRST IN THE NORTHEAST IN ALMOST FIVE DECADES. It
is time to “walk the walk” as well as “talk the talk.” We have worked very
hard to bring together local and national experts and exhibits. Below is
the final announcement – please distribute this to ALL E-MAIL LISTS you are
on.

“In conjunction with Amnesty International and the National Weekend of Faith
in Action Against the Death Penalty, The Connecticut Network to Abolish the
Death Penalty (CNADP) presents, "Target 2007 - Abolition of the Death
Penalty." This conference on Saturday, October 23 at St. John's on the
Green Episcopal Church in Waterbury will feature local and national
anti-death penalty activists including Bud Welch, whose daughter was killed
in the Oklahoma City bombing. Art Exhibits by Murder Victim's Families for
Reconciliation and by Lou Jones focusing on the death penalty will be on
display. There is no charge for this conference that runs from 9 a.m.
through 2 p.m. and lunch will be provided. Advanced registration is
requested. To register, please call Robert Nave, Executive Director of the
CNADP at 203.206.9854”
