So very many US Democrats thought they were accomplishing something meaningful by turning the US Republicans out of Congress.  Yet now the Democrats seem intent upon adopting policies even more backward and warmongering than those of the Republicans!

There is no need for anyone to plot the destruction of the US government .. all that those so interested have to do, it seems, is sit back and watch it implode due to stupidity.  With 'friends' like these "Democrats", who needs enemies?
