Subject: USGP-INT Green Party Campaign School

Please forward to any interested parties - including Greens in other states.

Green Party Campaign School
Saturday, March 31, 2007

As part of the GPUS staff site visit to Reading, PA in preparation for the Annual National Meeting, the Green Party of Pennsylvania and Pullano for Mayor will host a half-day training for all candidates and their volunteers.

This Campaign School will emphasize door-to-door canvassing, voter development, and analytical techniques that will help you win your election. In addition to GPUS national staff, you will learn from Dave Baker and Jennaro Pullano - two experienced Green Party leaders. In 2004, Pullano, with Baker as his campaign manager, won 48% of the vote for Reading City Council, and won outright in half the precincts. Pullano is now running for Mayor of Reading and is already on track to take the city by storm. He and his team will show you how you can successfully organize your campaign to win.

This training will emphasize hands-on and experiential learning. You won't want to miss it!

Program
1:00-3:00 PM - Interactive Workshop with Role Playing and Practice Scenarios
3:00-6:00 PM - Hands-On Learning! Canvassing in the streets of Reading*
Targeting voters, going door-to-door, keeping records, analyzing your results
6:00PM -? - Debriefing followed by food, drink, and celebration.

* Two neighborhoods will be targeted - one where the Green Party has frequently canvassed and one where the Green Party has never canvassed, demonstrating the power of sustained voter contact over time.

Workshop location TBA; final celebration at Jennaro Pullano's Campaign HQ/House, 117 Blair Avenue, Reading

Registration
$10 (lunch on your own, light refreshments will be provided by Pullano for Mayor during the evening portion)

Make checks payable to Green Party of Pennsylvania and mail to: P. O. Box 11962, Harrisburg, PA 17108-1962
<!--[if !supportLineBreakNewLine]-->
