Proposed agenda for the 7PM 12-30-08 SCC CTGP meeting at Portland Senior
Center

A.      Preliminaries:

1.       (1 minute): Introductions of voting/non-voting attendees; chapters;
if quorum was met; timekeeper; ground rules.

2.       (2-4 minutes): Approval of tonight’s proposed agenda, any deletions
or additions.

3.       (2-4 minutes): Review and approval of minutes of last SCC meeting.

4.     (2-4 minutes): Treasurer’s report from Christopher Reilly.

 

B.     Any proposals/referendums by chapters, committee.

 

C. Reports:

1. (10 minutes): GPUS Presidential Candidate: Cynthia McKinney: write-in
issues at polling places;Secretary of State apparently has not counted
write-in votes from at least the following cities/towns: New Haven,
Manchester, Wethersfield.  .

 

2. (10-15 minutes): GPUS reports from: Cliff Thornton, Co-chairperson of
GPUS, CTGP representatives: Tim McKee and Charlie Pillsbury and National
Committee Members: Steve Fournier, Richard Duffee and S. Michael DeRosa.  

 


3. (10-15 minutes):  Steven Fournier, endorsed 1st Congressional District
CTGP candidate: overview of campaign.

 

4. (10-15 minutes): G.Scott Dehefy, endorsed 2nd Congressional District CTGP
candidate: overview of campaign.      

 

5.  (10-15 minutes):  Ralph Ferrucci, endorsed candidate for the 3rd
Congressional District line: overview of campaign.

 

6.   (10-15 minutes):  Richard Duffee, 4th Congressional District CTGP
candidate; overview of campaign.

 

7.  (10-15 minutes): Harold Burbank, Green Party of CT candidate for 5th
Congressional District; overview of campaign.

 

8.  (15-20 minutes): Discussion about the results of the other CTGP
candidates: David Bedell for Stamford Registrar of Voters; Keith Brooks for
Weston Registrar of Voters; Charles Pillsbury for New Haven Registrar of
Voters; Remy Chevalier for the 135th District  of the CT House;  Colin
Bennett for the 33rd CT Senate District; Zaac Chaves for the 36th CT Senate
District; Mary T. Farrell for Stamford Board of Education; Kenric M. Hansen
for 39th CT House District.

 

9.  (5-10minutes): CTGP literature.

 

10. (5-10 minutes): Fundraising for CTGP.

 

11. (10-15 minutes): ACLU lawsuit update.

 

12. (5-10 minutes): CTGP potential goals for 2009.

 

13.  (2-5 minutes, each):  Chapter reports.

 

14.  Date and place for the 1-27-09, Tuesday SCC meeting.  Date, place and
time of next EC meeting in 1-09: to be determined.

 

15.    Any additions
