The SECT Peace & Justice Network is sponsoring a demonstration on  
Wednesday, May 21, in response to Vice President Dick Cheney's visit  
to New London to speak at the USCGA graduation ceremony.

We will gather at the Soldiers and Sailors Monument at 9:00 AM, where  
there will be a few short addresses and a performance by the Raging  
Grannies. 100 small tombstones bearing the names of the US soldiers  
killed in action in Iraq will be distributed. The group will march in  
silence (except for drums) to the designated meeting spot near the  
entrance of the Coast Guard Academy. (We are hoping to arrange a  
shuttle for participants who are unable to walk that distance.)
