Greens;
Because of conditions beyond our control tonight's SCC meeting place has
been changed to La Boca Restaurant, 520 Main St in Middletown, CT.  I tried
to contact as many people as many people as I could by phone. Sorry for any
inconvenience this may cause.  We will have the blue room to ourselves.
There is no minimum or purchase required.

Thanks for that thought, Tim.  Mike and Vic will double check. It typically
is not a problem, because Vic gets the keys for when the building is
typically closed.

Proposed agenda for the 7PM 11-11-08 SCC CTGP meeting at Portland Senior
Center

Location: Portland Senior Center, 7 Waverly Avenue, Portland, CT  06480

Facilitator:  To Be Determined

A.      Preliminaries:

1.       (1 minute): Introductions of voting/non-voting attendees; chapters;
if quorum was met; timekeeper; ground rules.

2.       (2-4 minutes): Approval of tonight's proposed agenda, any deletions
or additions.

3.       (2-4 minutes): Review and approval of minutes of 9-30-08 SCC
meeting.

4.     (2-4 minutes): Treasurer's report from Christopher Reilly.

B.     Any proposals/referendums by chapters, committee.

C. Reports:

1. (10 minutes): GPUS Presidential Candidate: Cynthia McKinney: write-in
issues at polling places; results.

2. (10-15 minutes): GPUS reports from: Cliff Thornton, Co-chairperson of
GPUS, CTGP representatives: Tim McKee and Charlie Pillsbury and

National Committee Members: Steve Fournier, Richard Duffee and S. Michael
DeRosa.  

3. (10-15 minutes):  Steven Fournier, endorsed 1st Congressional District
CTGP candidate: overview of campaign.

4. (10-15 minutes): G.Scott Dehefy, endorsed 2nd Congressional District CTGP
candidate: overview of campaign.      

5.  (10-15 minutes):  Ralph Ferrucci, endorsed candidate for the 3rd
Congressional District line: overview of campaign.

6.   (10-15 minutes):  Richard Duffee, 4th Congressional District CTGP
candidate; overview of campaign.

7.  (10-15 minutes): Harold Burbank, Green Party of CT candidate for 5th
Congressional District; overview of campaign.

8.  (15-20 minutes): Discussion about the other CTGP candidates for public
office and election results.

9.  (5-10minutes): CTGP literature.

10. (5-10 minutes): Fundraising for CTGP.

11. (2-5 minutes): ACLU lawsuit update.

12. (5-10 minutes): CTGP potential goals for 2009.

13.  (2-5 minutes, each):  Chapter reports.

14.  Date and place for December SCC meeting: Tuesday, 12-16-08 or 12-23-08
or 12-30-08.  Date, place and time of next EC meeting in 12-08: to be
determined.

15.    Any additions

Green Party Key Values: non-violence, respect for diversity, grassroots
democracy, social justice and equal opportunity, ecological wisdom,
decentralization, community-based economics and economic justice, future
focus and sustainability, personal and global responsibility, feminism and
gender
