This is not really about politics, but I recommend everyone do a quick search on the CT Treasurer's list of unclaimed property at http://ctbiglist.com

I've already found a few dormant bank accounts, etc., belonging to friends.  Check especially for friends and relatives who are elderly, have lived in CT a long time, or who have moved frequently.
