Howdy,
Just a heads-up that SPIE abstract submissions remain open due to some issues they had with the web site. Even so, the Observatory Operations conference has eclipsed its previous record by about 30%, but since we have requested an additional day for the sessions we’re still accepting abstracts. We would be delighted to see additional time domain topics if your project has some clever hack or faces some complex issue.

Many astronomical time domain projects will be represented in diverse technical sessions. This is especially true for the conference "Observatory Operations: Strategies, Processes, and Systems VI” (AS107), one of whose focuses is explicitly the time domain, since these projects offer new operational challenges and opportunities, both individually and in combination. You are encouraged to attend SPIE, and in particular to submit an abstract for your unique, scientifically compelling, and technically challenging time domain project to the Observatory Operations conference. If you build it they will come, but only if you operate it afterwards.
