In the past, there were two methods used to nominate candidates for CTGP
positions, either inclusion on the printed ballot or nomination from the
floor at the convention. Patricia Kane's method of announcing her
candidacy on the listserver is novel and untraditional, but is it
allowable? This seems like another point that may need some clarification
for future elections. I assume that any confusion could be eliminated by a
simple floor nomination at the convention.
