Amy: There is no closing date for nominations.  Nominations can even be made from the floor at the convention on Sat. 4/21.  There was a closing date, however, if you wanted your name on the ballot that was mailed to Green Party members.  

Nominees, like Pat, have an uphill fight, because they generally will only be able to count on votes from people who actually attend the convention; they will not get very many votes from people who vote by mail, unless people were to write them in, which the mailed ballot allows you to do.
