Good solution.

The Democrats, however, COULD kick Lieberman out of their party. Myrna
Watanabe introduced a resolution in a Demcratic State Central Committee
meeting on Wednesday the 17th to do exactly that. That resolution never came
up for a vote because it was superceded by a resolution to send a letter
chiding him instead. It was probably because the THREAT if kicking Lieberman
out was real and present that the letter of censure got passed.
