Dear Greens. You may wonder where I have been . I want these facts out before the 2/26 meeting so it will be discussed. I have had a car wreck and concusion and am too poor to fix car. I can only attend SCC meetings with a ride I doubt anyone from N E will attend as they are all clear on how F---ed up some of you are and we seem to be the only ones to elect anyone anyway. Besides Justine has not attend in 3 years and Charlie often goes months I am POOR and Handicapped and 57 live alone I want no pity just understanding Since winter I have run out of oil, food{ food pantry white rice and macaroni with diabetes}, rent/default, pet food, and had a second weight loss surgery .the first was botched. I "live" on a SINGLE  SSI/ retirement income. I blame alot of the money problem on the War. I doubt most people in the CTGP have ever been where I have. The GP stuff I missed was Nader Nader Nader or stupid personal attacks about such crap as to if a 40 yr ago GP Black Panther was a drunk etc. What about the current platform topic "Space"? NOTHING really gets done people FIGHT LIKE DOGS its shameful. As for Nader he is an ego maniac and a loser waste of time . I care about stopping the WAR NOW and the ENVIRONMENT ...... NOT making a statement too much damage has been done,he will never win so I am working for local and State Greens and OBAMA getting REAL. I also want to address my computer "skills" insults from men in the CTGP. Or my spelling. I am gifted/LD and a certifided MSE plus 2 yr towards PHD Special Ed Teacher with MSE in Environmental Science. There are no basic classes given anymore in computers at local colleges or Adult Ed. I went to Grad School PRE computer times.. When all you NERDY MEN where learning computers at your offices I have spent the past 30 yrs at womans work, wipping  Developmentally Disabled persons asses or teaching child abusers or sitting with dying AIDS persons, no computers there.It took me years and checking with others to NAME the anti semitism in our Party the same with the CHAUVINISM While I was so low and after the last SCC meeting I attended 2 months past and the constant list barrage of harassment, it came clear to me. I also spoke privitely to other women and men in the CTGP to guage my charges I now recognize our Party is RIFE with loud ugly rude mean harassing bullying CHAUVENIST PIGS.{ last time I saw this was in Clamshell Alliance} I will denounce TIM{ called Carl Rove by some in CTGP, a loud rude pig] CLIFF { loud arrogent and money hungry}  ALAN B{ insults me on the list} KEN{ insults me and Jews}DAVID E> and yes your "sacred'"PILLSBURY{ he refuses to belive or accept my anti semitism truths despite many leaving New Haven GP and has privitely offered to "mentor" me . he is no BETTER than anyone else  I have been in the GP 12yr and am all grown up}All these men have demeaned harrassed and insulted me.I want to make it clear I adore and respect Mike, Richard, David B, Vic, Chris, Mike W , Eric and many other men who need to observe and correct other men.Other women see/hear and leave after one meeting.What is the truth people show with THEIR FEET.? No women come to the SCC but me and Barb maybe Jean all ASSERTIVE WOMEN. Few women come to chapters none under 40 or 50 no young mothers or college women. No poor people come, I can count the Jews in the whole Party on one hand{ there were alot in FFLD, New Haven and HTFD }. They all left due to Justine, no gays {one hand count\or less]NO Blacks or Browns{one hand count or less, no poor people mostly " intellectual tokens"} Our pride Elizabeth left due to my  Witch Trial Star Chamber ousting and no diversity. The Party is in trouble, Willimantic does not look or act like this Party nor does the world nor do the OBAMA people. Nor did the Willimantic Lamont office I worked with the head was in a wheel chair and there were all ages and colors.I am still the CTGP scape coat by some and the cannery in the coal mine, some have called me the "heart and soul" of the CTGP.I ousted Tom S { a govt plant and law breaker} Judy H [ a theif], Justine[ a bigot] and Pat Kane { a Dem who tried to break the law and frame us]. Richard Duffey has said that Cliff ,Tim and Pillsbury tried to black ball me at the National Level wanting all men as Reps when Richard was not elected nor wanted to be{ I won numerical vote over Tim lost rank came in 3rd}.SO>>>>>> I refuse to QUIT  any National positions or State positions.Life has temporarily slowed me There is much wrong with the CTGP all the more reason to STAY IN. This is what I sent to Senator Don Williams, CT Sen. Pro Tempore.
Perhaps this could be developed into an joint open letter from us to whom it may concern - and perhaps it could serve as a rallying point for others to provide support during this most recent window of opportunity provided by Nader's announcement. I would think that members of the growing movement within the Obama campaign could provide a strong advocacy for changing the laws in a way that benefits third parties and the Obama bid.

           Watching Ralph Nader on Meet the Press should be a cause for concern for Democrats in what could be another very close race for the Presidency. Recalling Nader's impact on the race in 2000, I have to say that action to remedy the process to allow the participation of third parties without sabotaging the chances of a major party candidate is something in your party's best interest, and it is now 8 years overdue and counting.
 
          By simply providing a runoff, instant or otherwise, the supporters casting votes for third party candidates like Nader (and don't forget Bloomberg)  would be able to express a secondary preference in the likely event that their first choice does not finish in the top two and no candidate receives more than 50%. By allowing these third parties to play a role of constructive advocates for their position you stand to gain the support of many unmobilized voters who could provide an indispensable adjunct to your current base of support as you pursue your ambitious vision for reforming healthcare, etc... 
 
          Without changing the laws of the State of Connecticut to allow for a more constructive role for third parties there persists the risk that the actual will of the electorate can be subverted by a system of elections that promotes the primacy of the two parties above the will of the voters. In the process many political activists who could come to your aid in the years to come will remain dormant, and this does jeapordize your nobel ambitions to realize a vision that is beyond the reach of the current political establishment.
