The e-mail below was sent to the Connecticut Green Party website. I respond to inquiries to the website. If you might be interested in speaking to Professor Fetzer's class (in person or by phone) please e-mail me and I'll forward to you his e-mail address (and ask you to let me know if you'll be speaking). I will re-post to the News listserve (and also the New Haven listserve) when a Green has agreed to do the talk, so that Greens will know that a speaker has been arranged.
(Perhaps this is not the best way to select a speaker. Perhaps this is a matter for the Executive Committee, or one of the co-chairs. To co-chairs or whoever: e-mail me or call me on my cell at 860-869-7631 if you'd like to discuss this aspect of this request.)
(As the procedure now stands I will use my discretion in giving out the professor's e-mail address--I would not give it out to a Green I didn't feel could represent the Party effectively. If I had questions about particular Greens I'd confer with Green[s] I trust.)

Subject: Request for information

I am looking for a represenative of the Green Party to talk to my class on Political Parties at the Universty of New Haven. We would like to understand a little better about the goals of your party and ask questions. The class runs on Wednesday nights from 5:30pm until 10:00. The talk would be about a half hour and we could do it over the phone. The dates I have open are Feb 4th, Feb 11th, Feb 25th, March 4th and March 11th. Again it would be over the phone and would take about half an hour.

Thank you
Professor Gary Fetzer
