Subject: [usgp-dx] Huge win in Fairfax, CA

Dear Greens,

In my other volunteer job, I'm co-chair of the Marin County Green Party in California.

I am so proud to tell you that Fairfax, CA is now a majority Green town.

Three of the five members of the town council are Green Party members. Pam Hartwell-Herrero, Lew Tremaine and Larry Bragman.

Here are the results from last nights elections. Top three won seats of the Town Council. The Mayor is selected from the town council members.

PAM HARTWELL-HERRERO 1031 19.76%
DAVID WEINSOFF 960 18.40%
JOHN REED 947 18.15%
WILLIAM B. MADSEN 715 13.70%
SUSAN BRANDBORG 703 13.47%
WENDY BAKER 637 12.21%
CHRISTOPHER LANG 224 4.29%
Write-in Votes 1 0.02%

Our next step is to convince John Reed to reregister as a Green. He has already expressed interest in returning to our party by phone.

Peace,
Marnie Glickman
Delegate, Green Party of California
Proud Marin County Green!!!!!!
