[Thali-talk] Yaron's Weekly Update - 6/15/2015

[Note: I was out of office for the last month on paternity leave.]

One Week (plus a month) Ago:

·        TL;DR – Published an article on local P2P on iOS<http://thaliproject.org/iosp2p>, published our stories<http://thaliproject.org/stories> which will guide the rest of our development and attended the Wind Farm Conference<https://talk.developersquare.net/t/wind-farm-0-people-powered-nearby-networks-event-harvard-may-15-16/48>.

·        Monday – Entire morning was email status and chat with a customer. Wrote up an article on iOS P2P<http://thaliproject.org/iosp2p>. Updated the customer requirements doc. Started to put together the battle plan for while I’m out (what will become the stories article).

·        Tuesday – Working on stories.

·        Wednesday – Worked more on stories. Had a ton of meetings. Had to practice a presentation I’m giving tomorrow. Worked more on stories. Finished editing the customer requirements doc. Published our stories<http://thaliproject.org/stories>.

·        Thursday – Gave a presentation in the morning to an internal team at Microsoft on lessons learned doing open source at Microsoft. Had a long stand up to discuss a bunch of issues. Did emails. Started working on the skeleton of the postcard app.

·        Friday – Spent the entire day attending the Wind Farm conference<https://talk.developersquare.net/t/wind-farm-0-people-powered-nearby-networks-event-harvard-may-15-16/48>.

Next Week:

·        Get my mac book up and running so I can do development both on Android and iOS

·        Try to see if I can figure out the issues with our Android code and why it can’t seem to relay requests from node.js via our TCP redirector to Bluetooth.
