Last Week:

· TL;DR – On boarded the latest Thali contributor, David Douglas. Got my Mac set up and running for Android development. Started to learn Jukka’s code. Wrote up an article<http://www.goland.org/nodetolocalp2ponthali/> and test code<https://github.com/thaliproject/Thali_CordovaPlugin/tree/story-1-yarong> to define what Story -1 is.

· Monday – Mostly spent trying to set up my Mac for development and handling local issues.

· Tuesday – Working with folks on the team to get them unblocked and starting to dive into Jukka’s code in order to figure out how to get high bandwidth communications working with Android and Node.js.

· Wednesday – On boarded David Douglas as the newest Thali team member. Ran into a bunch of problems using Intellij on my mac (it couldn’t find the JDK or the Android SDK). Fixed those and added the fixes to the dev handbook. Then wasted several hours debugging an issue in Jukka’s code that turned out to be that I hadn’t followed Jukka’s installation instructions correctly.

· Thursday – Had a super long but super interesting call with a hedge fund manager who is interested in Thali scenarios. Stripped down Jukka’s demo to a two line discovery only no UX demo that I couldn’t get working. Had lots of trouble with discovery working across the devices. Managed to debug down to the point where I could see where debugging was starting in the Wi-Fi Direct layer.

· Friday – Spent more time with David helping him get up to speed and then spent most of the day working on story -1. I wrote up an article<http://www.goland.org/nodetolocalp2ponthali/> and test code<https://github.com/thaliproject/Thali_CordovaPlugin/tree/story-1-yarong> that we can use to deliver story -1.

This Week:

· Pay the enormous email debt I ignored last week for leaving for an entire month

· Do whatever it takes to get story -1 and 0 out the door!
