Matt - He got story 0 working on Android!!!!!!!!!!!!! For the first time yesterday we had the entire stack working end to end across two phones. It was awesome! Today Matt will put together a demo video and then he will work on writing tests to test out the native interface for story 0. The native API we used for yesterday's work is NOT the final API. We know we need changes. The tests are intended to define what the desired behavior of the native API is. So to be clear, story 0 isn't done until the tests are finished and passing. Matt will then give those tests to Jukka to make sure his native interfaces pass those tests. Meanwhile Matt will write mocks of the native layer that pass those tests so that we can do development on the desktop since developing directly on the mobile phones is a serious pain. Once all of this work is done and passing THEN we can officially exit story 0 on Android.


Srikanth - He got all the code updates for the JXCore crypto extensions submitted to JXCore. He also spent a good chunk of the day on Skype with Matt and I so we could get story 0 lit up. This is how we found out that Skype meetings have a 4 hour limit before you have to restart them. Today he is going to work on finishing up story 0.0. With Matt's code changes he can now test story 0.0 end to end. So ideally as soon as story 0 is finished he should be able to more or less simultaneously release story 0.0. Srikanth will submit to waffle a list of all the items he needs to finish story 0.0 to make it easy for us to track his progress.

Jukka - He spent yesterday figuring out how BLE actually works on Android. Tomorrow he will work on getting BLE working in the background and hopefully will get his first tests from Matt and can start running those tests against his native APIs.

Oguz - He spent a little time dealing with Srikanth's crypto code but mostly he is working on getting the footprint for JXCore reduced on mobile devices and related work. He is also starting the work to help us set up a test lab where we can run actual tests across multiple phones at once.

Yaron - I spent yesterday on the phone with Matt and Srikanth to get story 0 out the door. Today I have mail from all the way back to my paternity leave that I need to dig out of and then I need to go study Objective-C so I can help push iOS out the door. We are really close there!!!
